Under scrutiny from the NSW Labor Opposition, Minister Barilaro was unable to provide any certainty as to the future of Belmont TAFE Campus:

The Hon. DANIEL MOOKHEY: Minister, can you guarantee that neither Chullora, Singleton or Scone Campuses are going to be closed or sold?

The Hon. JOHN BARILARO: …What I have said is that if there is an opportunity to recycle any asset of TAFE that isn’t a part of today’s needs or future needs for the growth of the organisation, we would look at it.

The Hon. DANIEL MOOKHEY: Minister can you guarantee that [Belmont] Campus will not be sold off or closed?

The Hon. JOHN BARILARO: I refer to my previous answer. If there is divesment, we will make that clear to the public. I am not ruling any campus, or asset, in or out.
