OUTSTANDING ABORIGINAL STUDENT RECOGNISED

Piper received the award for demonstrating leadership in her local and school community and for being a positive role model to her peers.

Piper is a proud Kamilaroi girl, who excels in sports and academia.

For the past four years, Piper has been a junior representative on her local Aboriginal Education Consultative Group and is also an elected Student Representative at Northlakes High School.

Last year, Piper represented her school as an Aboriginal dancer and artist. She was shortlisted for the NSW Schools Aboriginal Dance Ensemble and was also part of the winning group at the Reconciliation Art exhibition at Gosford Art Gallery.
