MATTHEWS MAKES MAYOR
Central Coast Labor MP’s today congratulated the newly elected Mayor of Central Coast Council, Lisa Matthews. The new Mayor was voted into the position by fellow Councillors with 8 votes to 6 over LNP Councillor, Chris Burke.
Mayor Matthews has taken the reigns from the now Deputy Mayor, Jane Smith, who held the Mayoralty since 2017.
The Central Coast community will now be led by two experienced, local women, who have a vested interest in the betterment of the Central Coast and have been involved in local government for over 20 years.
