Yasmin Catley is State Member for Swansea
Hi, I'm Yasmin, your State Labor Member in the NSW Parliament.
I represent the electorate of Swansea, one of the most naturally beautiful electorates in the State.
Since being elected in 2015, I've worked hard to represent the interests of our community in Parliament.
This website is one of the platforms for you to keep in touch with me as your local State member for Swansea. I'll try to keep you posted on what I'm doing in parliament, and what's happening in the electorate.
I grew up in Summerland Point and now live in Swansea with my husband and three daughters.
As a librarian, I spent many years working for Lake Macquarie City Council. My husband and I have raised our children locally, and I remain actively involved in our community. I enjoy being part of the school and local sporting clubs, and I'm a member of a number of various community groups.
I'm passionate about delivering quality public amenities everyone can enjoy. I'm also focused on ensuring our schools and hospitals get a fair deal and that our economy is strong so local people have the best opportunity to get a job.
If you ever see something you think I should know about or just want to get in touch, please call my office on 4972 1133 or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
